The FCRI Research Committee invites research applications from Sunway University and Lancaster University a grant up to a maximum of £5,000 + RM30,000 in support of activities that will enable a future research application to Minister of Higher Education (MY), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), or other external international funding call.
This scheme is a short-term research grant intended to provide a mechanism for supporting academic staff aiming to work on innovative projects on cities or smart cities. This fund is intended as pump-prime funding which will lead to applications for external research funding within 12 months following the end of the grant.
Closing date: Monday the 14th of August 2023 at midnight UK Time
Submission
Applicants must complete the application form and must submit a budget using the Budget form based on the Application Guidelines.
Applications must include the following documents:
- Application form
- Budget form
- Gantt chart
- Evidence of collaboration or acceptance of collaboration (internal and external CIs)
